Showcasing the three plays in our first season and hosting a live auction to the theme of “Sex, Drugs, & Rock ‘n Roll,” Copious Love’s 2012 Fundraiser event at the Ballard Underground theatre is this Saturday, March 17th… A general party with a full bar, performances, dance party, and prizes!

Rachel Gavaletz Singing Lesson

Our first auction item is an introductory singing lesson with Rachel Gavaletz. Rachel has been a professional performer for over 16 years, having performed in Carnegie Hall and the Hawaii Intn’l Jazz Festival. She is a professional educator, with a studio in the SODO district of Seattle.

Tilth Dinner for Two Gift Card
(Retail: $125, Starting bid: $40
Tilth Restaurant features New American cuisine prepared with certified-organic or wild ingredients sourced from local farmers. The executive chef and owner, Maria Hines, is a James Beard Award winner for Best Chef of the Northwest and it is one of Seattle’s most popular restaurants. *Tilth also provided catering for the event prepared by Tilth chef, Brad Kelleher.

Glamazon Hair/Makeup Session

Saya Burchfield and Meg Phillips make up the Copious Love hair and make-up team, who we lovingly refer to as “The Glamazons.” They have designed hair/makeup for “The Way I See It,” and “Sweet&Decent/Dark&Twisty” in addition to having professional practices of their own. *If this item is bidded over $100, the Glamazons have graciously notified us that they will allow this item to be redeemed as a Bridal Service!

Truce One-hour Massage

Featured in “Sweet&Decent/Dark&Twisty,” Ethan’s gift to the couple was a Babeland bag of goodies, including lube and massage candles! Now you can have your very own bag of Babeland goodies by bidding on the “Sex Package”. Package includes a Babeland silver vibrator, bondage tape, a massage candle, a bottle of “Naked” lube, and two tickets to a Babeland workshop of your choice!

Piece of Mind “Drugs Package”

Piece of Mind in Fremont has been supporting Copious Love since the beginning having donated pieces for each play! We will have those items on display in each play’s exhibit. On top of that, Piece of Mind also donated this amazing “Drug Package” which includes a lighter with a kasher, earth friendly pipe cleaner, and a beautiful high heel pipe all inside a Dime Bag carrying case.

Piece of Mind was SO generous they also donated a complete bong package that we figured would be best by itself in our auction. Clinical glass blown beautiful clear water pipe. Whether you just broke yours or not, it is highly likely to happen some time soon…

Easy Street “Rock ‘n Roll Package”
(Retail: $90, Starting bid: $30)
Easy Street in Queen Anne was featured in “The Way I See It”. They allowed Copious Love to film all of the Platinum Record Store scenes before opening their doors one Sunday morning. They donated the “Rock ‘n Roll Package” which includes an Easy Street hoodie, which can be exchanged for the any size, an Easy Street pint glass, an Easy Street button and sticker, and a $30 gift card to the store!


We are going to have all kinds of ways for you to contribute at this event, and we wanted to make sure that we encourage the spirit of giving throughout. In addition to our live auction, we will also be taking General Cash Donations in Cash, Check, or VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, or Discover at the event. Spoiler alert: there will be a human kissing booth roaming the event with the most luscious lips you could ever spend a dollar on!
