Artsgiving 2016 is upon us! Here is the definitive guide to Seattle’s all-involved artistic community event!

Come see“The Untitled Play About Art School” by Nelle Tankus and STAY for Artsgiving 2016! Artsgiving is an open-mic invite to our extended artistic community. That means we are ALL in store for a variety of fantastic artistic expressions brought to the venue for Artsgiving 2016. We will host hours of stage performances in the Studio theatre and mingle with our fellow artists, friends and supporters in this once a year celebration of art, community, and love! Our once a year free holiday party celebrates jolly interactivity and exciting original art sponsored by the Copious Love crew! Artsgiving is a very informal open-mic style celebration of art forms in all of their various glories… An invite to our extended artistic community to come express yourself in the presence of a loving family of artists. We want YOU! We want to know about that song, poem, self-expression, story, art, or even feeling you may be willing to share. Bring it to Artsgiving. This event is about getting through the holidays together.. Sharing, participating, and loving each other… copiously.

LOCATION: THE 12th AVE ARTS CENTER- On Capitol Hill!  map website
12th Ave Arts is on Capitol Hill in Seattle on 12th Avenue in between Pine and Olive on 12th ave. It is right next to Rachel’s Ginger Beer & has a bright new sign all lit up out front!

ACCESSIBILITY 12th Avenue Arts is fully accessible for wheelchairs and walkers. The lobby and bathrooms are at street level and seating is available without the need for an elevator or stairs. This is not a scent-free space.

PARKING Let’s face it, we’re in Capitol Hill and parking sucks. Be sure to allow extra time to find a spot! We highly recommend carpooling, busing or taking your bike up to the venue as Capitol Hill can be a very busy part of town on the weekends. REMINDER! Street parking is metered until 8pm every day except Sunday! Make sure you pay up until 8pm or you will risk getting a ticket or worse.

WE RECOMMEND The Parkopedia app for your smartphone and also the Seattle Central Community College parking lot often has all day $5 parking – located on Harvard Ave at E Pine Street (map)

CAPITOL HILL is one of Seattle’s best neighborhoods. This community hosts some of the best restaurants, bars, and clubs that our city has to offer. Vibrant and continuously bustling, this is a great spot to make your theatre date complete!
