Theatre Off Jackson
In 1804, President Thomas Jefferson enlisted Meriwether Lewis and William Clark’s Corps of Discovery to explore the uncharted West and find an all-water route across North America from sea to shining sea. This is the narrative we “know.” History gets lambasted, as actor, musician, playwright, Andrew Lee Creech invites you into truly untrodden territory with this world-premiere musical, JOURNEY WEST! The Legend of Lewis & Clark. Join in an epic quest that re-blazes the historic trail to the Pacific through song, dance, and Sasquatch in this whimsical and irreverent send-up of one of America’s most beloved origin stories.
